Sorry for the delay. After getting her (meanwhile late) dog Gizmo as Gizmo as Tattoo back in May this year, Vicky got a new Tattoo and it’s a tiny ghost on her arm. As she shared on her latest Instagram story, her mom doesn’t really approve the Tattoo, telling Vicky that Tattoos are “unattractive”. I really like her simple Tattoo, do you?
Sorry for not posting this earlier, I was on vacation. Anyway, check out Vickys awesome new song ‘Another Word For Paradise’. Vicky told altpress.com: “This track was written this summer in the U.K. with some extremely talented people: Lawrie Martin and producer duo, Knoxa. The session was effortless, just seemed to flow organically. The song grew from the retelling of an incident on the tube: A woman was trying to solve a crossword puzzle and asked out loud, “What’s another word for paradise?” With that in mind, we just riffed and created this song.”
Vicky premiered her new song “Touch” on Soundcloud. Vicky told Blackbook: “This tune is all about going back to the person you know isn’t good for you, but because they’re a forbidden fruit, they’re that much more enticing. All you want is their touch even if you’ll regret seeing them after.”
Touch is a true bop, I can’t stop listening to it. You can convince yourself by listening to it below:
I learned of the death of an old friend today. He took his own life. So many stories of suicide lately. So many people suffering and not getting the support and understanding they need. I've suffered depression on and off my whole life and combat it in all the ways I can. I do my best to seek out the light when I feel stuck in the dark. Those of you having a hard time – know that you are not alone. Know that the loneliness and the pain does pass. Find the things that drag you out of that hole and do them. Reach out when you need the help. Don't feel ashamed that you're hurting no matter what anyone else around you might say. You are wanted. You are loved. There is a reason for you to stick around. – – – – Remind the people you care about that you love them. You never know when a person can be there one day and gone the next. Keep your head up. #depression #awareness
